NORTH Cumbria Integrated Care and the Clinical Commissioning Group host online video presentations ahead of their annual meetings.
The two healthcare organizations are jointly hosting their virtual annual meeting of members and their annual general meeting on Tuesday, November 2.
The event provides members of the public with the opportunity to learn more about the accomplishments of both organizations over the past year.
Peter Scott, NCIC President, said: “We were delighted to see members of the Trust and the general public join the event last year.
“While we do provide information about our activities, we want to make sure that the focus is on answering your questions – so please submit them to us in advance if you can, or you can ask us on same day. ”
The event will explain the current financial situation, reflections on the Covid pandemic and the group’s plans for the future.
Some of the presentations and recordings include an overview of the year from Lyn Simpson and an overview of the annual accounts for 2020/21 from Michael Smillie, director of finance, digital and estates.
Jon Rush, Chairman of the NHS North Cumbria CCG, added: “This annual event gives us the chance to update our community on our work over the past 12 months and this year we will reflect on the impact of COVID on our health and our care. services – what we have learned and will keep for the future. ”
